Recommend programs, strategies, initiatives, and resources to ensure that persons at KSU are not confronted with gender-based barriers to full participation in all aspects related to university life, and to ensure that gender-appropriate services/functions are being implemented throughout the campus community.

Our five-member taskforce, including the former AAUP@KSU president and KSU accreditation liaison, was formed in response to inadequate policy and processes related to the academic freedom grievances that surfaced during the university’s reaffirmation process. Our proposal was approved by the Faculty Senate and incorporated into the AY2021 Faculty Handbook.

Responsible for reviewing and proving feedback on graduate curriculum proposals, setting the monthly GPCC meeting agenda, and reviewing applications for graduate faculty status.
QEP Literature Review and Best Practices Sub-Committee, Spring 2017 – Fall 2018.
Identify and review the existing research and best practice literature that both defines and supports the proposed QEP concept. That review will serve as the foundation for the work of the other sub-committees that comprise the QEP Development Committee.
Quality Enhancement Plan Development Committee, Spring 2017 – Fall 2018.
Over a two-year period, the QEP Development Committee crafted the proposal that informed the final submission to the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges (SACSCOC) as part of KSU's reaffirmation of accreditation in 2018-2019.

Responsible for coordinating the department level review of faculty dossiers submitted for pre-tenure review and promotion and tenure review; drafting of response letters for each candidate; lead revision of department promotion and tenure guidelines.
Leadership and Integrative Studies Department Faculty Committee, Chair, Fall 2018 – Summer 2020. Responsible for facilitating DFC meetings and ensuring full participation in shared governance through the maintenance of two-way communication between the department chair and department faculty; lead revision of department bylaws.

Responsible for facilitating curriculum development (in support to the department chair), shepherding the curriculum proposals through the approval process as the originator of the package of 19 individual proposals, and contributing to the design and development of two graduate programs including seventeen courses.

Responsible for drafting the certificate proposal and contributing to the overall certificate development process. As the proposal originator, I facilitated the approval of this graduate certificate in conjunction with the MA in Student Affairs; however, there were two different development committees for the respective programs.
